Antique 1800's Victorian Sofa & Chair Restoration & Upholstery

This Victorian Sofa was stripped from all the green fabric, original horsehair and all stuffing and upholstery materials. The frame was repaired, restored and refinished. The furniture was then rebuilt with the original materials : horse hair, feathers, etc and new upholstery fabrics.

Miniatue Antique Sewing Machine Collection

In the early 1920's Sales men used to go door to door selling sewing machines. These unique machines are called Sales men's Samples and highly collectible. This collection of 74 pieces were submerged in water and damaged severely. Many had hand painted designs that had to be replaced. All the metal parts were rusted and had to be restored. The designs were then delicately re-painted. Very successful restoration.

A client of mine went on her honeymoon to Italy and brought back four miniature plates approximately 5" round with this Italian Street Scene. She commissioned me to paint the same scenes onto larger canvases of 12 x 12 inches and make the titles of all the stores, her new last name. Then they opened this little restaurant and again commissioned me to do the mural form the paintings. So...this design started from four little italian plates and was painted 3 times.

STUDIO TWO - Before Re-Model

This is the first time I have had a commercial studio in a Plaza
and not a single private property as Studio One.

This place was such a mess before we re-modeled it, but it was a nice space when we got done with a lot of room for many projects.

This is the back shop area for really dirty work and spraying. A lot of shelving and looked great after a good coat of quality paint.

This is my main work area before my son built my platform painted, carpet and on and on and on!

We were so happy to rip this carpet out, remove the mirrors and have the whole place painted. What a wreck!

When we made these displays, we made small homes in everyone with lights for every hole.
Boy...glad when that was done, but it was beautiful when lit, especially at night.

My Husband is an artist as well. These are a few of his custom made clocks. Many have chimes and pendulums. This was a very popular item.
